Welcome to Planting With The Pickards

The Japanese Need to Know the Gospel
-
The Japanese are the 2nd largest people group that has not been reached with the gospel.
-
Rural areas of Japan have little Christian presence, with two thirds of towns and villages having no churches or Christians. We will be focusing on reaching these areas.
Our Role In Reaching the Japanese
-
We will focus on building relationships with the Japanese through shared interests with the locals, such as Kendo and Japanese-style crochet, and by serving with the community. We will proclaim the gospel, disciple, and build churches with those the Lord connects us to.
-
We will focus on reaching a high level of proficiency in the Japanese language to thoroughly explain the depths of the gospel.
-
We will join the Christar team, our agency, to plant house churches.
-
We will plant churches among the Japanese that create apostolic leadership, allowing us to leave and plant new churches.
-
The vision of our team is to see growing networks of indigenous churches that are reproducing and transforming the Yamaguchi prefecture with the Gospel.
